Sanitary Wastewater Treatment Package

Sanitary Wastewater Treatment Package

These prefabricated units are recommended as a cost-effective and safe solution for wastewater treatment of small communities and solving environmental problems of urban and industrial polluting units. The resulting effluent, after disinfection, can be disposed in surface and groundwater or used in agriculture and green space irrigation. Wastewater treatment packages are divided into two categories in terms of type of wastewater, sanitary and industrial, and in terms of body material into three categories: metal, polyethylene and composite.

Benefits:

  • Easy development capability
  • Space saving
  • Ability to withstand high organic loads
  • Financial savings in costs
  • Dealing with pollution of surface and groundwater resources
  • Reduce operating costs in treatment systems
  • High treatment efficiency and reusability of treated effluent
  • Presenting new methods and technologies of low cost and high efficiency
  • Prevention of surface and groundwater pollution through effluent treatment

Buried polyethylene sewage package

  • Low sludge production
  • Less volume than conventional systems due to design type
  • Easy to install
  • Easy access to the diffuser and easy replacement
  • The possibility of using the installation space for other purposes due to the burial of the package
  • No need for body repairs due to its long life and body material

Advantages of buried polyethylene packages with new technology

  • Corrosion resistance
  • No need for insulation to prevent corrosion
  • No space occupation on the ground
  • No algae production due to lack of sunlight into the tanks
  • No odors and foams emission to the environment
  • Impossibility of dust and debris entering the tanks
  • Very simple operation and no need for a skilled operator
  • No need for any pump to perform purification operations
  • High quality output

Disadvantages of metal packages

_
Low corrosion resistance

In metal packages, due to the corrosion of wastewater, it is necessary to paint with epoxy paint or create corrosion-resistant coatings such as PVC or fiberglass. Experience has shown that epoxy paints need to be renewed every few years, for which the sewage flow must be cut off or diverted, the tanks must be thoroughly rusted, washed and dried, and finally repainted. This will cost a lot of money in addition to the administrative hassle. Because this must be done at the installation site.
In the case of fiberglass and PVC coatings, there is a possibility of cracking due to cooling and heating of the metal, and the penetration of sewage under the coating will cause corrosion of that area and eventually the coating will rise from the metal surface of the body. In addition, repairing and renewing composite and PVC coatings requires heavier costs than epoxy painting.

Appearance

These model packages are conventionally installed on the foundation on the ground surface and are visible, which does not have a good reputation due to the mentality of people about sewage. Also, in some cases, the sewage of the aeration pool foams, and this foam, which contains bacteria and germs, is scattered by the wind to the surrounding environment.

Emission of pollution and odor

Due to the fact that these tanks are open and exposed to the open air, in case of producing any unpleasant odor or foam, it will be spread by the wind to the surrounding environment and will cause dissatisfaction of the neighboring residents.

The arrival of dust and debris

Due to the openness of this type of package, the wind has transferred all kinds of dust and debris into the tanks, which will clog the pipes and disrupt the treatment and transfer of wastewater and finally the pumps.

Algae production

Sunlight on the sewage causes the production of algae, which in addition to creating an unpleasant appearance, causes an unpleasant odor and eventually leads to clogging of the paths, pumps and irrigation pipes of the green space.
